Queens Head Cafe

Uncle of Sir Charlie Chaplin owned The Queen’s head public house in Black Prince Road. The building was built in 1890 and is typical elegant 19th century edifice. The Queen’s Head on Black Prince Road was owned by Charlie’s uncle. Here, the great comedian saw the local tramp Rummy Binks from whom he claimed to have copied his funny walk. It is now a popular Cafe and Bistro always busy and full of life. Offers great English traditional breakfast and classic English fare at lunch time.
